The 2011 NCADA Prevention Leadership Conference is a program of the National Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse (NCADA) - St. Louis Area. This year's Conference is a one-day event and will take place at the Sheraton Westport Lakeside Chalet on Friday, August 5th from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. With the theme Building the Best YOUth, the Conference is designed to energize and fuel prevention efforts in your community. As a participant, you will receive the latest prevention strategies and resources through interactive educational sessions that will equip you to enhance or start a new prevention group, attract financial support for your efforts and identify new prevention partners in your school and/or community. You also will enjoy opportunities to network and socialize with your peers thereby reinforcing and celebrating the dynamics of positive peer support. Motivational speaker and success trainer Aric Bostick is the keynote speaker. He will also present two breakout sessions - one for youth and one for adults.
