Red Ribbon Week: October 23-31, 2008The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse-St. Louis Area (NCADA) serves as the key coordinator for communities and schools that are planning events to commemorate Red Ribbon Week. This site contains very useful information that will make your Red Ribbon Week spectacular! The NCADA has adopted the theme “Real Winners Don't Do Drugs” for the 2008 Red Ribbon Week in honor of the 23rd anniversary of Agent Enrique Camarena’s death. Join us for our first event on Tuesday, October 28! The Red Ribbon Partner Agencies will host an art opening at the Portfolio Art Gallery & Education Center from 5:00-7:00 PM called, “Be ART-C! A Red Ribbon Celebration of Recovery.” The opening features the work of young artists from Preferred Family Healthcare’s Achieving Recovery through Creativity (ARTC). This exhibit is open to the public through the end of October. Call Kasey Harlin at 314.610.2689 for more details! NCADA and its partner agencies will also host the following tranings for middle school students and their teachers:
