Red Ribbon Leadership Trainings
Blazing the path to a drug-free community — Encouraging our youth to take the lead
The following Red Ribbon Leadership trainings are being offered at no cost for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students who have demonstrated leadership potential (you must register for the trainings by August 24, 2012).
Registration starts at 8 am, and the training ends at 1 pm.

Students will do the following:
- Learn current alcohol, tobacco and other drug information.
- Understand the importance of working with their peers through team building exercises.
- Be able to plan a Red Ribbon event at their schools!
Teachers or other adult sponsors that accompany students to this training will receive an array of resources including: red ribbons, project start-up kits, and other informational materials to assist them in promoting healthy life choices for their students.
Already signed up for our trainings?
Here’s how to make the most of your experience:
- Select ten students who have a record of commendable conduct & are highly motivated.
- Recruit two adult sponsors who will assist students at the training.
- Dress casually and appropriately.
- Use the information from the Rallies to create a Red Ribbon event at your school.
- Expect to have fun!
